Maisonneuve Magazine needs contributors! In Spring 2007, the Maisonneuve team will be launching a new sister publication—a definitive city magazine for Montreal. This new magazine (the name remains top-secret for now) will be smart. It will be sexy. It may even be bilingual. And it will offer a fresh, new perspective on our hometown. We'll be starting from scratch and thinking big. Subjects to be covered include (but are not limited to): art, travel, politics, business, film, shopping, theatre, music, architecture, real estate, restaurant culture and nightlife. In order to achieve our goal, we need people with a Montreal sensibility to add their voices and visions to ours. We are looking for both writers and visual artists: WRITERS

We are already reviewing applications (we've received some 300 in the past month alone), but we won't be engaging with contributors until September. Maisonneuve Magazine is a four-year-old publication that was named Canadian Magazine of the Year in 2005. We publish four times a year from our office in downtown Montreal.
