Intern at Maisonneuve: Winter 2012

Attention, all keeners: Maisonneuve is now accepting applications for winter internships. We’re looking for enthusiastic, well-informed interns with a passion for magazines and serious writing chops. Candidates don’t need to have studied journalism or literature, but they must be very familiar with both the print and online versions of the magazine. Experience with student media, blogging or other extracurricular writing or editing is a plus.

Intern responsibilities include fact-checking, proofreading, writing for the website and print version of the magazine, coordinating events and various other Maisonneuve-related duties. The position is part-time and unpaid, and the internship lasts from late January to the end of April. Candidates must speak and write English fluently and live in Montreal. Hours are flexible.
